MARIO TESTINO

QUEEN GISELE BUNDCHEN FOR VOGUE UK MARCH 2015

Mario Testino shoots Gisele Bundchen for Vogue UK March 2015. Styled by Lucinda Chambers. Hair by Christiaan. Make-up by Lucia Pica.

In this issue of Vogue UK, making her 14th appearance, Gisele gave the magazine an insight look into her life as highest-paid supermodel, mothet of two, step-mother and wife of Tom Brady.

“I’m very nurturing, I come from a large family and my parents were loving. But the most important thing for me as a mum is to keep my word,” she said. “When I say no, I mean no. I always say they have all the time in the world to sit there saying, ‘I want it, I want it,’ but they are smart, and if I give in to them they know they can get away with it.”

About her husband and life, she told the magazine…

“I knew Tom was the one straightaway. I could see it in his eyes that he was a man with integrity who believes in the same things I do.”

“I’m a model as a job, I’m Gisele, the daughter of Valdir and Vania, I’m a woman, I am a model. When I go home and shut the door, that’s it. If I want to expose something, it should be my choice,” she explained. “My earliest memory was going to my grandma’s house, milking the cows and collecting the eggs from the chickens. If I could choose, I’d be bare feet, with animals all around me and living in a tree house. Like Tarzan and Jane, that’s my dream. I’m at my happiest around nature.”

VOGUE UK

GOD SAFE THE QUEEN! VOGUE UK MARCH 2015

sasha-pivovarova-craig-mcdean-vogue-uk-march-2015-1

Sasha Pivovarova is photographed by Craig McDean for Vogue UK March 2015. Styled by Jane How. Hair by Eugene Souleiman. Make-up by Val Garland.

A very English editorial for Vogue UK, using the urban outfits they love as much as we do. They choose a carpentry-basement-set for this urban vibe, very unusual and unexpected. But the clothes are very appreciable from it.

Love the military blazers and the denim look photo. This is a very rich mix of evrything and nothig, the little green riding hood, the gladiator shoes, jumpsuit, leather and the floral short dress. This editorial has something for everyone, BUT WITH THE MILITARY TOUCH IN IT.

DOUTZEN KROES

DOUTZEN KROES FOR WSJ MARCH 2015

Josh Olins shoots Doutzen Kroes for WSJ March 2015. Styled by Alastair McKimm. Hair by Esther Langham. Make-up by Sally Branka.

We love Doutzen Kroes, she has been our favorite Victoria’s secret angel since her debut in 2005. This set of mostly black and white pictures for WSJ (Wall Street Journal) magazine support our thoughts about her.

As the main focus of the pictures is herself you can admire all her poses and looks.

We are not familiar with Josh Olins photograph work, but he can count us as fans from now one. The article should be title Doutzen Kroes in her new city loft apartment in New York. It is all that we want, AND WE LOVE!

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN S/S 2015 AD’ CAMPAIGN

2531_3_campaign6

David Sims shoots Karolin Wolter for Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2015 Campaign.

I don’t know but when we think about this campaign suddenly the Coldplay song “Princess of China” comes to our mind, and it is not necessary in a bad way.

The collection is inspired by a personal and treasured collection of antique kimonos.

Colour: Geisha pink, blossom pink, lantern red, black, silver and bone. Fabric: Engineered silk jacquards and knits. Silk wools, chiffon, organza and leather. Print, texture and embellishment: Kimono florals and kite prints, marquetry leather, metallic floral spheres, silk embroidered cherry blossom, hand cut floral ruffles and hand painted petals. Shoes: Banded black, silver and geisha pink snakeskin sandals with lacquered soles hover above a Perspex heel.

We must admit the prints and textures are to die for. The innovative silhouettes, as usual, are the Alexander McQueen innovation signature.

The eyebrows? We are ignoring them by the moment. We are already focusing our eyes to better things is the campaign like the purse. But let us tell you we love the red lipstick contrasting with those beautiful eyes.

The collection has a lot of beautiful pieces, pants, tops and amazing short dresses (some with cape), REALLY AMAZING SHORT DRESSES. We are wondering, why they are not in the campaign? Something to take in mind next time.

At least we have a short tease of the amazing shoes the collection has. THE TRUTH, WE WANTED MORE!
