To round out his recent Fall 2018 campaign with Milla Jovovich, Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing has layered in an assemble cast each dancing to their own tune.
Photographer An Le captured fashion icon Daphne Guinness, dancer Sergei Polunin, singer/model Charlotte Lawrence, beat boxer Mina Rose, singer James Bay, singer/model Gabriel Kane Lewis and models Soo Joo Park, Duckie Thot and Luz Pavon for the campaign. Rousteing and Le leverage film as a unifier, more to come on that later this week. Outside of that unifier the cinematic hand of An Le pulls the universe together with with the right coloration of cool greens and blues.
The launch strategy gave the hero role to its lead actress, Milla Jovovich, without the hint that there would be a followup four weeks later with the newer diversified cast. The Impression likes that there is more to this story and looks forward to hearing more.
