CALVIN KLEIN’ HOUSE

Designer Calvin Klein has just sold his property in Miami, a beautiful home where he has impregnated his simple yet chic style. We see purity, noble materials, few furniture … and much pleasure.

It has taken two years, but it has. Designer Calvin Klein has detached himself from his home in Miami, for almost $ 13 million, which allows us to look at it. And, certainly, we feel joy, to the point of exultation, since, as we see in his costumes designs, in his house we find smooth and pure lines, zero strings and many natural materials. Hidden in the middle of a dense forest of tropical vegetation, with wood and linen and white cottons or clear as star materials, it is an ode to rest and relaxation.

The colonial-style house was built in 1929, and Calvin Klein acquired it in 1999 to make it his private heaven and the place where he has kept an extreme intimacy until the sale was made public. The house has about 500 square meters and has five rooms with private bathroom. Much of the furniture and antiques were chosen by the designer Axel Vervoordt.

From this beautiful property we are seduced by many things: its patio, its main structure on a floor (all facing the exterior) and its views create a relaxing, green, full of nature and very pleasant atmosphere. Inside, white is the dominant color, even in the exposed wooden beams, which have been painted in a soft sand tone. The spaces have been opened and are diaphanous, even between the bathroom and the master bedroom.
