iPhone 6 Plus Gets an Improved Version of iOS 8
Apple just confirmed two new iPhones, and it looks like the larger iPhone 6 Plus will also get an improved version of iOS 8 which makes use of the side-by-side view already featured in Apple’s lineup.
We heard rumors suggesting Apple could bridge the gap between its iPhone and iPad software with the iPhone 6. The company just showed us how its messaging app works on the iPhone 6 Plus. In portrait mode you can see a picture of each contacts face next to your conversation with them. In landscape mode you get a list of conversations on the left and your individual conversation on the right.
We’re guessing Apple’s done the same thing with some of its other apps and will encourage third-party developers to follow suit.
