This apartment of 120 square meters is located in the heart of the French capital, opposite the Louvre, so famous as an exceptional location. Finished last year, the apartment is typically Haussmann: high ceilings, moldings and an elegant fireplace in the lounge.

“Although it may seem contradictory, I would say my style is contemporary, chic and classic,” says Emma Donnersberg.

Light colors like white and beige have been privileged. She confesses approach to interior design as “if I had to paint a blank canvas, using the spatial organization, colors and textures to generate the highest level of luxury.”

This project was more about decoration of interior design. In fact, Emma Donnersberg used a good part of the budget to buy pieces of furniture and lamps of famous designers. In the lounge, the sofa is Christian Liaigre, the Thomas Lemut coffee table, chairs and lamp Patricia Urquiola suspension Jean de Merry. In the kitchen, the wallpaper is the Woods model of Cole and Son and chairs designed by Warren Platner Knoll are.

“I’m Parisian, so designing a floor here is something natural to me. However, through this project I realized the beauty of Paris and its buildings.

New York, where I work too- is a beautiful city, but it’s totally different, “says Emma Donnersberg.
