It all started in 2012 with Basecamp Hotel South Lake Tahoe. Today the brand also has Basecamp Hotel Tahoe City, which allows you to discover another part of this sublime region of the United States -in Northern California-, where large spaces are the protagonists.

Located in the heart of a small town with shops and restaurants overlooking the lake and the mountains, Basecamp Hotel Tahoe City is based on the premises of a classic motel completely renovated, today spaces with a lot of personality and a spirit are discovered adventurous.

The public areas were conceived to facilitate exchanges between guests. Thanks to the interior design and the organization of the spaces, anyone who stays at the hotel feels comfortable sharing their experiences. In the Sun Room, for example, the terrace offers panoramic views of the lake, in the lobby a large fireplace invites to the meeting and a cozy dining room with a large communal table invites to chat in a relaxed atmosphere.

In total there are only 24 rooms, which allows to create a more welcoming and personal atmosphere. Different categories serve all types of travelers. For example, The Great Indoors is particularly suited to families, as it consists of a separate Little Explorer’s Basecamp with a bunk bed and parents can sleep next door in a space that looks like a tent, giving the whole family the feeling of camping.

At Basecamp Hotel Tahoe City, the idea is to enjoy the warm interior spaces at the end of a day with many activities in nature, both in winter and summer.
