MOSCHINO TEDDY HOLIDAY 2018

The house of Moschino brings holiday tidings this season with a brief campaign designed with a bit of sparkle and not enough energy so as to not draw the spotlight away from their recent H&M collaboration.

The new ‘Teddy’ Holiday 2018 campaign by Milan based director and photographer Senio Zapruder keeps the narrative simple while highlighting the houses mascot Teddy’s capsule program of cell phone cases and hoodies. To accompany what will likely be just a social media and self-owned network play is a short video that is more nightclub than Night before Christmas. Model Michelle Van Bijnen is directed to mix a combination of moves that are part catwalk, part danceclub. One can’t help but feel that with a bigger budget the house could of turned this into a more meaningful and memorable narrative rather than a piece that is as fleeting as a snowflake however it checked the boxes fairly and give the collection a bit more storytelling before ringing in what we hope will be a more impact year for the house.
