TOMMY HILFIGER ADAPTIVE SPRING 2018 CAMPAIGN

Tommy Hilfiger has announced the launch of their Tommy Adaptive Spring 2018 collection campaign. The digital campaign commemorates the spirit of individuality while also featuring Paralympian gold medalist Jeremy Campbell, motivational speaker Mama Caxx, dancer Chelsie Hill, as well as chef Jeremiah Josey.

In Spring 2016 Tommy Hilfiger launched its first adaptive collection for children and from there expanded to include a men’s and women’s adult collection for Fall 2017. This was major news for the fashion industry as it marked the first time a global fashion label featured apparel to fit the physical needs for those with disabilities.

The core mission of Tommy Adaptive is to be inclusive and empower people of various abilities to express themselves through fashion. The collection features modified closures and adjustable details, in an attempt to accommodate all. With an underlying commitment to innovation and modern style, Hilfiger’s Spring 2018 collection offers new and advanced product modifications ranging from seated options for tops and bottoms, to bungee cord closure systems and updated Velcro® brand closures.

The campaign is innovative in the sense that it immensely aligns with the current focus on inclusion and acceptance of all. Tommy Hilfiger embodies, in their Tommy Adaptive collection, the idea that fashion is an outlet of expression utilized by everyone.
